I wanted to share with you simple design ideas that you can use to implement into your decorating that will help you when it comes to decorating your bathroom shelves.

When it comes to decorating your bathroom, it can be hard to decide what decor to put on your shelves and so forth. So, I decided to share with you a couple simple ideas that you could do to make it look like a professional took a step into your home.

Bucket

First, I started out with a galvanized 3 bucket caddy. It stores cotton balls, q-tips, and I stacked soaps in the last bucket. I have very limited space when it comes to my small bathroom, so using a cute galvanized bucket to organize was the answer! 🙂

The great thing is you can use it to organize small bathroom items or even place some decorative flowers into it. The great thing about a galvanized bucket is the fact that no matter what you store or decorate in them, they always look great and brighten up your space. The sky is the limit! Use your style and imagination and you will do great!

Here is a galvanized caddy similar to mine.

Artificial Plant

I also decided to add a little greenery using a fake plant to livens things up a little bit. Plants and flowers always brighten up the room. As you can see I like to use a little bit of both.

I found a couple of plant options below that you can purchase and use. I think the boxed succulants are adorable and would look great with anything. 🙂

I got this flower cluster, cut off the stem and use it to add some charm laying on my shelf. It still has a little stem so that if I do choose to place it in a decorative jar I still can.

Decor Item

I love owls! I think they are one of the prettiest and coolest birds, so I decided to implement an owl decor into the mix. Feel free to throw in your favorite decor item that you love, whether it be a fox, a dog, or even just a picture frame. You can get this owl below! 🙂

Candle

Adding a candle subtly into your decor gives it a comfortable and cozy feeling when guests walk in. You can have it out on your shelf or inside a beautiful lantern.

Lantern

I decided to add my candle into my lantern to give fill in the empty space inside. I plan on decorating the inside for different seasons of the year!

Lanterns are becoming more and more popular and I have to say they definitely add some character to your decor, which is why I love them. Here are a few options and links below of different lanterns you could use that are budget friendly! 😉

Basket

Baskets are great for storing. Whether it be storing toilet paper, magazines, etc. The great thing is you can use a galvanized basket, for that farmhouse feel, or this weaved cloth basket like what I have below.

No matter what your style is, you can always throw your taste and style on in the mix when decorating.

Let’s face it baskets look great! And when it comes to extra storing space it’s a win-win.
