Homemade Beef Stroganoff is one of my favorite homemade meals to make. It is not only simple to make but it is packed with so much flavor. I was very surprised! I used to buy hamburger helper Beef Stroganoff and after making homemade I will never go back.

If you have never made beef stroganoff from scratch then I think that it is a recipe that you will come back to and make again and again. You can even add some garlic bread on the side of this recipe. I did not this time around but I have done it in the past and it is really good.

Homemade Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of beef
  • Egg noodles or Penne Noodles (I used egg noodles in this recipe)
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 Tsp Oregano
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1/3 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Beef Broth
  • 1 Garlic Clove

Instructions:

First you are going to want to warm up your pan before placing your hamburger into it. Salt and pepper your hamburger meat before you place it on the pan to cook. Once, your pan is warmed up then you can start cooking your hamburger. I use this tool when it comes to chopping up the hamburger and I love it!

While the hamburger is cooking you are going to want to fill another pan with water. Wait until the water is boiling and then place in your noodles and cook about 8-10 minutes or until noodles are soft.

Your hamburger should still be cooking, so while it is cooking you will want to chop up 1 garlic clove. Set garlic clove aside.

When the hamburger is done you will want to set aside off of hot burner until your noodles are done. When your noodles are done, drain and throw them in the pan with your hamburger along with your chopped garlic cloves.

Put back on burner and you will want to add your salt, pepper, seasoning, milk, beef broth and cream cheese at this time. Cook and stir until noodles are coated in the white sauce mixture. If you like a more creamier sauce then you can add another cream cheese and another 1/3 cup of milk to make this recipe a little more creamier.

When all of the fluid has cooked and evaporated then it is time to turn off the burner and let cool for a few minutes.

Let cool and Enjoy!
