Christmas Decorating is one of the holidays, other than fall, that I enjoy decorating my home for. Even though I’m not a huge fan of the snow and cold weather, I love having decorative snow covered decor or Christmas Decor around my home. Usually I decorate my home for Christmas after Thanksgiving, but this year I was excited to start switching out my fall decor and did it a few days before Thanksgiving.

When I decorate my home I have certain areas that I just swap my decor with during the different seasons. I do this because it makes my home still look decorated and nice, but not feel cramped or overdone with all of the decor. Check out below how I simply decorate my home for the Christmas Season, even without a tree!

Pin me for later! 🙂

Simple Christmas Decorating (My Home Tour)

My husband and I don’t usually put up a Christmas tree. We have the space for one, but with it just being the both of us right now we decided that we don’t feel the need to decorate our home with a tree. Plus we have a couple of cats and you know how cats love trees! LOL. I think trees are pretty and when I was a kid my parents would put one up for us to decorate and it was always fun!

Even though we don’t have a tree during the Christmas seasons though, doesn’t mean that our home still can’t feel like Christmas. Whether you put up a tree in your home, don’t have the space for a tree or are like us and don’t feel the need to. You can still simply decorate your home for Christmas and still give your home some holiday cheer. Here is how I simply Decorate my home Christmas.

Front Door

I always start with my front door, when it comes to decorating my home for the different seasons. Wreaths not only add some charm to the season that you are decorating for but also adds a warm and homecoming feeling before you set your foot through the front door.

Living Room

In my living room I have a couple windows that I love to add some Christmas greenery on to add some winter/Christmas charm. I just lay it on top to give my living room a warm, comfortable feel. If you are looking for a way to subtly add some Christmas/winter decor into your home, then try doing something like this to your windows.

Another simple Christmas decorating way that I like to do in my living room is to place a wooden Christmas sign on top of a book and add a nice pine needle in the tray with a candle.

Simple Christmas Decorating

I have a rustic pitcher that I got from Wal-Mart that I added some snow covered pine needles and cranberries into. This is one of my most favorite pieces in my living room.

Simple Christmas Decorating

For my living room, I also have a nice furniture piece that I use as an entryway. I added some more snow covered pine needles along with a blessed sign.

Simple Christmas Decorating

Kitchen

In my Kitchen I have a small decorative shelf that I like to add some vases during different times of the seasons. For Christmas this year I decided to add some wall art with some trees, some pine cones and some red berries underneath.

My small coffee bar is where I have all the fun! I added a small wooden house, along with a little espresso cup on my tier tray with a couple more berries inside.

Next to my tier tray I added one stick of pinecones in front of some more pine needles.

Simple Christmas Decorating

Spare Bedroom

One of my spare bedrooms I only added a few Christmas things on my bookshelf. In a glass jar that I found at a thrift store I added some small pine needles with some twine with beads that I had made.

I leaned this Merry Christmas sign that is in my printables library against a pitcher.

Bathroom

Of course, I have to add some Christmas charm on my bathroom shelves! I love owls so I of course had to keep him.

I had to add some fun red colors into my bathroom, even though I am mostly a neutral kinda girl. I really liked how it adds some fun pop of color. To top it off I added a golden covered pinecone next to the flowers.

Because of me keeping the owl, I decided to add next to him a small branch with pinecones along it.

Simple Christmas Decorating

I found these cute houses at Michaels last year at their Christmas end sale and I had to grab it! I thought it was way too cute to pass up and I love how they add a little charm to my bathroom shelves.

Simple Christmas Decorating

Downstairs Sink

We have a downstairs sink that comes in handy but sometimes I am unsure of what to do with it. I don’t normally decorate the sink downstairs but this year I decided that I was going to do something with it.

Again I added some snow covered pine needles into a ceramic jug to help with a lot of the empty spaces on the countertop.

I then added a wooden sign with some greenery laying next to it.

The last little wooden house I had, I decided to add on this downstairs shelf as well. I also couldn’t have it all by itself so I added another golden pinecone.

Simple Christmas Decorating

Master Bedroom

Last, but not least on simple Christmas Decorating. In our master bedroom, I don’t have a ton of winter or Christmas decor. I just decided to place this nice sign up by our bed. I love that it has pops of red with the sign, so that it matches our red throw pillows.

On our bed I added pops of red plaid and then added a small white tree throw pillow to make it feel more like winter and Christmas.

Last but not least, I threw a seasonal throw blanket on the end of our bed.
