When it comes to homemade chicken noodle soup. There is nothing better. If you are like me and you are looking for the perfect homemade chicken noodle soup recipe, then you came to the right place.

Ingredients:

– 2 chicken breasts                                

– 2 cups Egg noodles                                               

– 1 onion                                                              

– 4 celery sticks

– 2 carrots

–  6 cups chicken broth

Spices:

-1 Chicken Bouillon Cube

-1 Tsp. Garlic Salt

-1 Tsp. Oregano

Steps:

If you are cooking with frozen chicken then you are going to need to put 1 cup of water in your instant pot. ( If your chicken is already de-thawed you can skip to the last step.

Once your instant pot gets up to pressure, it will start the 10 min timer.

Once the timer goes off, do a quick release, remove the chicken and place on a plate. Shred or dice up the chicken, (whichever you prefer).

Next Steps:

After you take the chicken out, set your instant pot on saute mode. Place oil or butter on the bottom of the pot and saute your cut vegetables inside. Saute for 5 min.

Next, throw your cut up chicken along with the 6 cups of chicken broth and all of your spices.

Lock the lid and cook pressure cook on high for 10 min. Once the timer goes off, release pressure and add in the 2 cups of egg noodles. Let them simmer in the pot for 6 min until tender.
