Cream Cheese frosting is absolutely mine and my husbands most favorite frosting! When it comes to the creamy texture, the cream cheese taste, to us there is nothing like it.

With only 3 ingredients, this recipe is super easy to make for cupcakes, cakes and more! This frosting recipe is so easy and sooo good! You will want to come back for more!

Directions:

First you will need to have 1 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature. Once softened, place cream cheese into bowl or your stand mixer. Add 1 Tsp Vanilla, 2-4 cups powdered sugar.

I add only 2 cups of powdered sugar and it works out great for our taste, but feel free to add in 3 or 4 cups of powdered sugar.

Tip: If you want more of a cream cheese taste with a little bit of sweetness then put in the two cups of powdered sugar, if you like your frosting a little more sweet I would recommend putting in 4 cups of powdered sugar.

My husband isn’t into really sweet things like I am, so that is why we have decided to only add 2 cups of the powdered sugar. 😉 Honestly, it tastes really good and now we can’t have it any other way. Feel free to experiment here and see what taste you and your family prefer. 🙂

Next, mix the powdered sugar in with the vanilla and cream cheese until smooth. Make sure no powdered sugar is remaining on the bottom of the bowl.
